The McDade Marching Band placed 1st out of the 2A bands today at the first annual Giddings Band-tober Fest last Saturday! The band also won best 2A Color Guard and came in 4th overall!!
Thank you Giddings for putting on such a great competition!
Thank you to everyone for coming out to support our wonderful band students!

We look forward to our UIL performance next week at 10:45am!

We cannot wait to see you Thursday from 5-7 at our Bedtime Story Night. WEAR PAJAMAS!! It will be a fun and cozy evening filled with stories read by the teachers. 📚✨ Today was Book Fair Preview Day for our students! Our 4th grade class was buzzing with excitement as they explored their book fair finds and discovered new stories to dive into. 📖😊

The Book Fair will be open to shop Tuesday through Friday, next week.

Today, they had the special opportunity to use those coins to select a book from our Book Vending Machine. We love celebrating good choices and helping our students build a lifelong love for reading. District Meet was a success! This is the 3rd year in a row McDade XC has qualified for Regionals. This year goes to 10th grader Marcos Suaste! We also had 11th grader Alexa Carrillo come in 1st as our District 2A Champ in JV girls division. This has truly been a team effort! Along finishing strong in a tough category was Senior Alberto Maldonado and 10th grader Timothy Hunt. We also have had an amazing Team Manager Senior Summer Jacobs. Lots of hot afternoon workouts, early morning meets and prayers have paid off! Congrats to Bulldog XC building a legacy of family, integrity and teamwork. Let’s Cheer Marcos on to Regionals! Let’s Go Bulldogs!! 🐾

🏐 McDade Lady Bulldogs Take the Win at Bartlett! 🐾 Final Score: Victory on the road for the Lady Bulldogs! Congratulations to our team for their hard work, teamwork, and determination that led to a fantastic win against Bartlett! Every player gave it their all and contributed to this team victory. 🌟 Player Recognition – MVPs of the Match: • Brianna Briones – For her relentless hustle and amazing sets that kept the offense flowing all game long! • Leah Chavez – For her endurance and killer hits that powered us through key moments! • Avery Grier – For her stellar defense and nonstop hustle that kept the ball alive and the team energized! While these players stood out for their standout moments, every single Lady Bulldog played a crucial role in securing this win. The team’s heart, spirit, and unity were on full display!
