Band Booster meeting this Wednesday!

Are you a 6th - 12th grader interested in joining the Track and Field team? Please join us Thursday, February 12th at 5:30 pm in the High School Bistro to discuss the future of the team! We look forward to seeing you there!

McDade ISD has just significantly increased its medical care capabilities. Public Safety Chief Nick Teague has just achieved becoming a Licensed Paramedic and Sergeant Sara Allen has just achieved becoming an Advanced EMT. These are the two highest levels in prehospital emergency care which can be obtained. This adds Advanced Life Support skills to better serve our students and staff during medical emergencies or injuries. Be sure to say hello when you see them with their medical bags at our athletic events!

Yesterday we celebrated 100 Days of School at our elementary campus!
From counting to 100, creative projects, and lots of smiles, our students showed how much they’ve learned and grown. We’re 100 days smarter and still counting!

Today during WIN time, Mrs. Hobbs brought the music and the moves! 7th-9th grade Students practiced and learned dances to a variety of songs and had a blast preparing for the upcoming Valentine's Day dance!🩷 (Grades 10th-12th will get to practice on Monday) 💃🕺 Don’t forget! $5 presale tickets are only available until Wednesday, February 11th. Tickets will be $10 at the door afterward.

Parents—please note that Senior Retakes are scheduled for Monday, March 2nd, which is a student holiday / staff development day.
Seniors who need retakes should plan to come to campus just for pictures that day.

Please help us congratulate Avery Grier on placing second at the Star District FFA Talent Contest.❤️

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the first-place competitor had to withdraw, and Avery will now represent the Star District and McDade FFA at the Area Talent Contest this May in Temple.

We are proud of Avery’s hard work, talent, and dedication, and we wish her the best of luck as she advances to the area level. Join us in congratulating Avery on this accomplishment!
