Students currently taking the English I, English II, Biology, Algebra I, and US History classes will take the appropriate STAAR EOC test. Congratulations to TASBO Student Voice Scholarship recipient Shelia Lugo Lopez!! Shelia is one of five selected high school seniors who shared their unique public school journeys at a special panel Friday morning during The Texas Association of School Boards Governance Camp. Not only did she receive a $1,500 scholarship from TASB sponsor Walsh Gallegos, she also gained invaluable experience participating in discussions with community leaders. McDade ISD is so incredibly proud to have Shelia representing her herself, her family, and McDade ISD in front of school boards from all across the state of Texas. Way to go, Shelia!!
