McDade ISD's Mighty Marching Band Advances to Area scoring straight 1's this morning!! Congratulations, we are so proud of you!
They have advanced to Area 2a competition in Groesbeck, TX om November 2! We hope to see you there!.
McDade ISD would like to extend a huge thank you to our Ag Department Reagan Wilhelm and Camy Wilhelm for Dreaming Big! They organized donations and delivery to those in need as a result of Hurricane Helene. With community support, they were able to raise more than 5 thousand dollars worth of donations. We would like to extend a special thanks to:
Mike Norman for transporting all the donations to North Carolina!
The Teague Family for helping with the outreach and donating!
Dustin Williams for bringing a pallet of water!
And the bastrop county extension office, the surrounding community, and all the FFA members for coming together and getting so many donations!

Your McDade Bulldog Marching Band is an area qualifier! The band performed well and earned straight superior 1st divisions from all three judges. We are super proud of the students hard work and effort to earn this accomplishment. Our next competition is on November 2 in Groesbeck, performance time to come soon.
Thank you to all of the parents and admin who came to support us! Your support shows our kids that what we do matters and is important. Without your support, what we do would be difficult, if not impossible. It's a great day to be a bulldog! 🎶🐾
